Victoria Pendleton Launches International Fitness Week powered by Fitness First

Victoria Pendleton Launches International Fitness Week powered by Fitness First

On March 11th, British Olympic and World cycling champion Victoria Pendleton launches International Fitness Week powered by Fitness First. The week long event (11th – 17th March 2013) sees Fitness First gyms opening their doors and offering free gym passes, in a bid to make the country a fitter place.

Victoria Pendleton is supporting the campaign, encouraging both members and non-members to come down and give exercise a go, whatever their ability. Victoria Pendleton: “People need to get moving, be it cycling or any other exercise. This is a great chance for people to try out all fitness activities for free!”

To inspire and motivate, the Fitness First fitness experts have compiled daily themes, so participants can pick and choose their favourite activities or try them all! International Fitness Week is the ideal time for those who’ve felt inspired by the Olympics to get into gym and improve their fitness whatever their level or ability.
